Topo's Story
Topo was rescued from a kill shelter with only 2 days left to live. Plenty of love and care have made him the happy dog he is today. Every dog has the potential for a happy ending, just like Topo's. But every day thousands of dogs slip through the cracks, and are unadopted die unnecessary deaths.News Letter
Bogart is a very handsome, fun, playful and friendly 10-month-old, 55-pound, male, pit bull looking for a loving guardian.
Bogart is a blocky, super sweet boy with a really great temperament. He loves to play fetch and plays well with other dogs. He knows the command sit and takes treats gently from your fingers.

We want to help make Chicago a model "NO KILL" city where every adoptable companion animal can find a good home. And by doing so, help influence the way other cities care for their companion animals. We passionately believe it can - and must - be done. We believe that responsible stewardship of Chicago land's companion animals is an imperative. Adoptable Dogs
Famous Fido works with overcrowded Chicago-area shelters to rescue adoptable dogs that are at high risk of euthanasia, and to find them loving homes. We have a small boarding facility and a growing foster network. Our animals are vet checked, spay/neutered, vaccinated, and micro chipped. We encourage all potential guardians to commit to training and working with our animals to make them the best companion they can be. The $175.00 adoption fee helps offset cost of caring for our animals. To schedule an appointment to meet and greet any of the dogs shown above give us a call at 773-907-0305.
